A future wilderness built on a traditional history
A modern Highland Estate in the midst of the spectacular scenery of Glen Etive and Glencoe
We welcome guests to Dalness Lodge for a limited number of weeks each year. Dalness isn’t just a place to stay, it’s an immersive Highland experience that allows guests to become a part of the story of Dalness – a future wilderness built on a traditional history.
We have limited remaining availability for stays at Dalness Lodge in 2026, please enquire directly for further information.
The Lodge can accommodate up to 15 guests in 7 bedrooms. Split over the first and second floors, all seven bedrooms are spacious and benefit from high-end furnishings; including king-sized double or over-sized single beds, with Egyptian cotton bedding. Every bedroom at Dalness also has a modern en-suite or dedicated private bathroom; with either a walk-in overhead rain-shower or a deep soaking bath – or in some cases both.
The ground floor comprises a relaxed lounge area, formal drawing room and modern kitchen; each having an open fire. The spacious dining room can seat 20 guests and has spectacular views of Glen Etive. You can find the games room on the second floor, offering an extensive library of books and DVD’s, large screen for ‘film nights’ in, keyboard, card table and traditional board games.
A traditional stalkers cottage that has been lovingly restored to become a luxurious and delightful hidden gem set within the most magnificent scenery of Glen Etive. The open plan kitchen / lounge / diner is kept cosy with a wood-burning stove. Curl up in comfort after a day spent out on the hills exploring. There is one large super king double bedroom, a sofa bed in the lounge, a utility and a family bathroom. A fast flowing tributary of the Etive runs past the cottage grounds, with pine and birchwoods giving shelter, and spectacular views all around.
Glen Ceitlein sits in a private, secluded spot amid the spectacular scenery of Glen Etive. The cottage would have originally been a shepherd’s cottage which has been lovingly refurbished to create a warm, welcoming getaway where you can really ‘get away from it all’. Accessed by a private forest road along the river Etive, and enjoying wide views of the glorious surrounding landscape, this is for those who really want to get off the beaten track. Sleeping four, in a twin and double room, the cottage has a cosy living room with wood burning stove, and separate fully fitted kitchen.
Dalness Lodge is situated in a dramatic setting on the 13,000 acre Dalness Estate in Glen Etive, and is set amongst some of the most spectacular scenery in the Scottish Highlands.
