A future wilderness built on a traditional history

‘A modern Highland Estate set in the midst of the spectacular scenery of Glen Etive and Glencoe

Deer Stalking

Deer management at Dalness is directed towards improved herd health and strength, balancing our biodiversity objectives of increasing woodland and heathland habitat resilience.

The challenging mountain terrain at Dalness attracts hunters from around the globe and provides a memorable day out for novice or experienced guests alike. A good level of fitness is required as there are no roads into the estate’s wild and remote glens – a long hike over difficult terrain can be expected, and the challenge brings rewards of a unique experience in this dramatic wilderness setting.

All stalking parties are led by our experienced Stalker and supported by our Ghillie team with Argo-cat or quad bike as the day requires.

Stalking is only available within the traditional Scottish Stag and Hind season. Please email as below to discuss availability and your requirements.

Accommodation for stalking parties can be booked at either of our estate holiday cottages, for further details, see our accommodation page.

Filming

The wild character of the glen, with mountain scenery and fast flowing waterfalls, as well as unrivalled access to hidden corners of the glen, make Dalness a sought after location for filming – from major streaming networks to indie start ups.

Our experienced team can support your project and tailor accommodation, parking, storage and office facilities, and a variety of traditional buildings for shoot locations, as well as in-field services.

Please contact us on admin@dalnessestate.co.uk to discuss your requirements.
