The grand Victorian Lodge has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard, and now presents elegant and generously proportioned accommodation for up to 15 guests, with younger family members welcome.
The inviting and stylish formal drawing room, with its open log fire, is the perfect place to unwind after the day’s activities and enjoy pre-dinner canapes, an aperitif or wind down with an after dinner whisky.
The grand dining room, comfortably seating the full household for dinner together or a more intimate supper at the smaller circular table, from where you can enjoy the breath-taking and unparalleled views of Glen Etive.
The open, informal and relaxing lounge area, with oversized leather sofas and an open log fire, provides a comfortable place to relax throughout the day, and enjoy afternoon tea.
All seven bedrooms at Dalness are spacious and benefit from high-end furnishings; including king-sized double or over-sized single beds, with Egyptian cotton bedding.
Every bedroom at Dalness also has a modern en-suite or dedicated private bathroom, with either a walk-in overhead rain shower or a deep soaking bath – or in some cases both – and underfloor heating.
An open plan second floor contains the comfy Games Room with an extensive library of books and DVD’s, large screen for ‘film nights’ in, electric piano, card table, and traditional board games provides a relaxing space for all ages.
The newly added drying room with external door to the walled garden will dry your wet outdoor gear overnight, and with underfloor heating throughout the property your comfort is assured.
Fancy settling in for the day? You will find numerous quiet nooks ideal for catching up on reading or keeping in touch online – the Lodge has a good wifi connection, mobile phone service (EE) and landline as well as the option to use the Estate office for business meetings.
Throughout the Lodge, the walls display an extensive collection of original Scottish artwork, and is furnished with modern and antique original pieces. The newly established formal walled garden is a place of peaceful contemplation, and delightful colour and scent.

Here at Dalness we want you to be able to fully unwind and enjoy what the house and surrounding area has to offer; which is why we provide you with the services of a dedicated in-house chef to fulfil all your culinary needs. This service means that none of your party will have to worry about the shopping, cooking or clearing away.
Whether you require a formal four-course dinner, a serve it yourself home cooked fish pie or a buffet; the chef will liaise with you to tailor a bespoke menu to suit a budget that works for your party.
Wherever possible, Dalness sources its produce from the following local west coast suppliers, all within an hour of Glen Etive.
